The easiest and most efficient approach to produce cross-chain tokens is using WebGlide since it doesn't require any infrastructure and the smart contracts are simple to use. Then, tokens may be shifted practically immediately.
WebG BEP20 coins are crosschain BEP-20, allowing for secure transfer across chains without any slippage.
In order to give token issuers complete sovereign authority and freedom over their tokens, regardless of the bridges they select, WebGlide formally supports the industry adoption of ERC-7281: Sovereign Bridged Tokens. These docs go through how we implemented this proposed standard in WebGlide.
Today, when you want to make your token available on multiple chains, you have to either:
Provide significant liquidity to a bridge on each chain (and require users to take slippage when transferring across chains); or
Mint a new representation of your token through the bridge, locking yourself into that bridge and its security model forever.
WebGlide provides a new approach to making your token natively crosschain without compromises. This makes your xToken:
Transferrable across chains with no slippage.
Deployed and fully controlled by you, the token issuer.
Secured fully by Binance L1 and the canonical bridges of each chain.
In a single, user-friendly development interface, WebGlide combines the security of bridging through canonical bridges (such as Ethereum, Binance, etc.).
Data related to cross-chain token transfers is collected by WebGlide into merkle roots in batches. Through canonical bridges, these roots are transferred from each chain to Binance L1, where they are further batched before being sent back to each chain. This creates a low-cost, low-trust message highway that you may use to communicate across chains.
By connecting via the underlying message network, WebGlide facilitates burning and minting of tokens precisely across chains.
What makes WebGlide the best choice for cross-chain tokens? There are a few significant aspects that set WebGlide apart from competing products.
In the past, security and trust reduction have always come first at WebGlide.
WebGlide is the only messaging bridge that provides users with the trust assurances of the underlying chain by giving canonical bridges the responsibility of cross-chain message verification. for situations where there is no accessible canonical bridge.
The most recent version of WebGlide has undergone a comprehensive audit and includes a system of observers that monitor network consumption and proactively suspend it if issues are found.
The steps to set up your WebGlide WebG BEP20 are very straightforward:
Deploy Mintable/Burnable Token representations on the other chains you want to support.
💡 If you'd want, you can operate your own router to provide quick path liquidity in WebGlide. However, we currently have an ecosystem of routers that can cooperate with you to increase liquidity for your token if this is excessively complicated.
Due to the great capital efficiency of routers (which also generate revenue from fees), the network only requires roughly 1/8th of your anticipated 24 hour volume in liquidity in your token. Please get in touch with us so we can assist you find a router partner!
